About New Hope Eurasia
New Hope Eurasia serves communities and families throughout Eastern Europe, helping meet critical needs and bringing hope to people facing difficult circumstances.
For this project, New Hope Eurasia has identified a mother from the Roma community in Moldova who is raising her young daughter in extremely inadequate housing conditions.
The Need
This mother and her daughter currently live in a structure consisting primarily of cement walls with a tarp serving as the roof.
The home has no proper roof, doors, or windows and lacks essential utilities such as electricity and plumbing.
The existing foundation gives us a place to start, but significant work is needed to turn the structure into a safe and functional home.
With colder weather approaching, completing this project before winter is especially important.

Using the existing foundation, the project will focus on completing the essential components needed to make the home suitable for the family.
